Residential Instructors
Educate students under the principles of Daily Life TherapyŽ and provide a safe and secure environment for the students. Instruct students in daily living and social skills and participate with students in community activities. Be able to participate in all student activities including extensive physical exercise and other various activities.
Will receive training in Daily Life Therapy, CPR, and First Aid, Non-Abusive Psychological & Physical Intervention (NAPPI) and the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Will assist in the development of educational assessments and individual service plans for students including goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, behavioral sciences, human services or related field is required for afternoon/evening shift. Degree not required for overnight/awake shift however experience with special needs students is preferred. Must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment and possess good interpersonal and communication skills as well as a positive and professional attitude. Must possess computer skills.
